Smith&Brown have developed a new visual language for ceramic surface design, which is liberated from the technical limitations of analogue print methods. Deconstructing digital print technology and using our printmaking experience we have established new techniques, which allow additional pigment to be built into more intense saturated colours. When used in combination with the inherent continuous tone qualities of the system, this all adds up to a vast new range of aesthetic possibilities for tableware design.
